ACH Verification Process

Verify your banking information quickly and easily using a quick selfie and paper note

Updated on 3/25/2022

ACH/bank transfer is a great option to purchase crypto through Wyre! To keep your personal information safe and secure, we have a verification process in place. This guide will help you through this simple process.

Even after entering your banking information, you may experience a verification error. These errors can be caused by multiple reasons: information mismatch, failed connectivity, or missing information, to name a few.

While we may not be able to identify the exact failure reason, we do have a solution to keep things moving for you! In these scenarios, you will need to submit:

  1. A photo of a hand-written paper agreement authorizing Wyre to withdraw funds
  2. A selfie holding that agreement as a proof of identification

This is a one-time request, and once we have this on file, we can complete your account verification and/or finish processing your payment(s).

Here's what you need to do:

First, write down the following on a piece of paper, like the example shown below:

  • "I authorize Wyre Payments, Inc to debit my account ending in -XXXX."
  • Today's date
  • Your signature

Next, take a crisp, clear selfie of yourself holding the piece of paper. Please make sure that the note is legible and that we're able to see your face. 🤳😀
